What is the Reading Phonics Approach?
The Reading Phonics method of teaching has been used to teach to read for centuries. The method was called ‘phonics’. As this period it has been modified and developed to what we get now. Nowadays, this phonics approach becomes useful in varying degrees such as in the majority reading techniques. A phonic is an approach of reading that teaches the connection among the sounds and the letters in their writing form. This is a kind of decoding. The words are decoded through the knowledge of what the lettering say.
The phonic technique is dependent on 2 postulations. Among them one is the phoneme or sound of the letter has connection to the graphemes or letter. The other one is that if children have known once the connection among the sounds and letters, then they can speak the written words through mixing together the sounds. Phonics teaching begins through the letters in alphabet.
